Meaning:

Aix, Lestore and Mirande are all in France. What flaming object could fall for three nights in a small section of Western Europe?

Over 75% of France's energy is produced by nuclear power. The Master can only be referring to an imminent nuclear disaster. That would be eye-opening! Either that or perhaps an alien invasion. That would be stupendous too.

Whether it's nuclear fall-out or vast hordes of Reptilian Greys finally arriving to take over the earth the earth will shake with the ramifications.
