Pet
Has Psi Factor
BEDFORD,
INDIANA-- Rusty,
a rare Similkameen terrier, has telepathic abilities, claims his owner,
Horst Leipzig. The six-year-old dog seemingly has the ability to let his
wishes known to his master, making the gentle owner understand exactly
what he wants. "It
is a very strange thing," said Horst, a landscape contractor, who
has had Rusty since he and his wife Greta adopted him from the animal
shelter. "Since the very moment we saw him, we knew he was very special."
Horst claims
that he knew the dog's name was Rusty when he and his wife Greta brought
him home the very first day.
"I looked
at him, with his golden brown hair, and he told us with his mind that
his name was Rusty. The name, it just showed up in my head at that moment.
He must have projected his thoughts into mine for me to know that it was
his name."
Horst was
able to state other examples of Rusty's psychic abilities.
"He
will look at me with his deep black eyes, and I know that he wants to
be taken for a walk, or that he would like to have a soft biscuit, or
perhaps a Snausage. It is an uncanny thing when your pet can say these
things with only his mind. He is not saying a word, not even a bark, yet
I know what he wants. It is definitely the special gift of telepathy that
has been given to my Rusty."
"I will
see Rusty sitting by the front door, and he will look to me, and say with
his mind 'I want to be let outside right now, so that I can pee on the
grass, and go sniff around in the garbage'," said Horst. "It
is so clear in my head that his message is being sent while he sits there
by the door."
Greta Leipzig
claims not to have had any direct "telepathic episodes" with
Rusty, yet she can tell when her husband is receiving messages from their
pet.
"I see
Rusty sitting close to Horst when we are eating at the table," said
Greta, who has always loved animals, and cooking. "Horst will look
directly into the eyes of Rusty, and know that Rusty would like a taste
of his pork chop. It is the same when we have sausages, or even bratwurst."
"It
is a strange concept indeed to be able to hear the thoughts of an animal,
such as a dog," commented Horst. "I am not able to sense anything
from the squirrels that show up in the yard."
The Leipzigs
are not interested in having their pet exposed to any scientific experiments,
but they are not afraid of any publicity they might receive as a result
of their dog's abilities.
"Rusty
will make it very obvious in my head when he wants to have his tummy rubbed,"
added Horst. "His thoughts go in my head while he lies on the carpet
of the living room lying on his back with his tail wagging. It is almost
compelling for me to reach down and rub. I do not even question how he
makes me know in English what he desires." |
